Amuse.io take down my tracks - open letter!

This is an open letter to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Swedish Distribution company Amuseio AB, Miss Roshanak Lina Motman

Amuseio AB
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
Roshanak Lina Motman  (Roshi Motman)
Kammakargatan 48,
111 60 Stockholm, Sweden

Date: 16. March 2024, Switzerland

Miss Roshanak Motman

I’m contacting you today directly because your company has been ignoring my emails for over a month! Amuse.io has deactivated my artist account without any information in advance.

Your BOT Support Chat explained the following: If you've received a notification saying your account has been frozen or deactivated, it means your account has been terminated for breaching our Terms of Use. The majority of the streams on your released material have been flagged as fake by our system. This can happen if you for example use an illegitimate promotion service that guarantees a specific number of streams.

Well, I have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. I ran campaigns on GROOVER for my releases. I contact Playlist curators, Media outlets, radio stations, do social media promotions, etc like EVERY other independent and signed artist on this planet, and as far as I know, this is not criminal and against the law!!!!

WHO is streaming from WHERE and HOW many times my tracks is out of my hand!!!! Also, why on earth would an independent artist/lyricist with this quality of music, whose main reason for writing is raising awareness and spreading messages about humanity, consider buying fake streams/bots? Who are you fooling? This doesn’t even make sense! The entire music distribution and store industry, which is making a fortune, would be screwed without indie artist's work! The lack of support by the stores is one thing, but the lack of respect is mind-blowing!

Deactivating my artist account with false and insulting allegations and stealing my royalties is one thing, BUT not taking down my tracks from stores is corrupt. Your company has NO right to keep my work/my music which I have full copyright!

  • Your company has decided to close my artist count without any further notice: Fine.
  • Your company has decided to keep the income: Fine. Stealing money from hard-working independent artists is corrupt and criminal. But never mind, I strongly believe in Karma! That’s all I have to say.
  • Your company has decided not to take down my tracks from stores even after a month: Not fine!

Not allowing artists to have access to their accounts and releases is wrong. You have no right to keep other people’s property hostage: in this case, the music tracks!

So, with this open letter, I ask your company once again to take down my 13 tracks IMMEDIATELY from all stores. This should have happened a month ago, when you closed my artist account for no reason!

If they don’t take down my 13 tracks from 24 stores (Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube Music and Video, Amazon Music, SoundCloud etc.) in 249 countries this week, I will as copyright holder take legal action!

Regards,

Lily Amis (Independent Lyricist)

Bowling - World War II & the aftermath!

The First World War (WWI) was fought from 1914 to 1918 and the Second World War (WWII) was fought from 1939 to 1945. They were the largest military conflicts in human history. Both wars involved military alliances between different groups of countries.

What I didn't realize for decades, was what happened after the World War II ended and how a new human tragedy that lasted for 28 exhausting years started.

In most films and documentaries about Hitler, America is praised for ending World War II. What these films don't show though is the mess with the Berlin Wall and how it affected Germany.

What I'm trying to say is, today we are witnessing several wars in different conflict zones. They are horrible and the reason why the refugee crisis is continuing and getting worse and worse. But what we don't see is the aftermath of these individual human tragedies and their legacy.

I wish I had the power to put an end to this misery!

Bowling - Sonlyrics & Video!

BOWLING, LILY AMIS FEAT. THIR13EEN

Headlines, headlines everywhere

Local, national, international, 24/7 around the year

I really cant take it no more

Stop messing with my mind

Stop wasting my precious time

World leaders enjoy playing nasty games

Making up stories, hiding reality and exaggerating

Parrots and Pinocchio’s join them and entertaining

Toy with humans like puppets with no shame

Brainwash and manipulate

The bowling is rolling & rolling

Destroying & destroying, Generation after generation

The pins keep falling and fading in flames

But Karma will hit them back unexpectedly

Catch evil like a boomerang intensely

Mighty hungry fortune hunters

Breaking News: Surprise, surprise, No one lives forever

No money in this world is gone last forever

You’re born with no moral values in your bones

No flame in the world will unfreeze your heart that is made of stone

Filling your bank accounts with filthy money

only creates misery for your soul destiny

The aftermath: Black Karma will hunt you for eternity

Not only you but your legacy for decades over centuries

Not only you but your legacy for decades over centuries

Centuries, centuries

The bowling is rolling & rolling

Destroying & destroying, Generation after generation

The pins keep falling and fading in flames

But Karma will hit them back unexpectedly

Catch evil like a boomerang intensely

Grandpa use to say: Sooner than later evil can’t escape

Fame and fortune hunters don’t realize

That they won’t go too far with their lies

Laundry money disappears as quickly as it appears

Like germs and dripping blood on guilty hands

Live your life with good thoughts, words and deeds

Respect the wisdom of history

Leave a legacy of humanity

For yourself and your entire family

Anything else is a foolish game

with nothing but losers at the end

The bowling is rolling & rolling

Destroying & destroying, Generation after generation

The pins keep falling and fading in flames

But Karma will hit them back unexpectedly

Catch evil like a boomerang intensely

Parrots and Pinocchio’s, surprise, surprise

We’re no longer blindsided by your nasty games

Stop destabilizing our world with negativity

Enough blood has been shed

Humanity will roll down the long and narrow lane

Score, strike and knock down and win the game!

Yeah, that’s right, knock down and win this game!

Bowling - The UK post office scandal!

A four-part television drama, Mr Bates vs the Post Office, was broadcast on ITV in January 2024, after which the scandal became a major news story and political issue. The same month, Sunak announced that the government would introduce legislation to exonerate wrongly convicted subpostmasters.

As of January 2024, most of those wrongly convicted are still waiting to have their convictions overturned, the public inquiry is ongoing, and the Metropolitan Police is investigating individuals from the Post Office and its software provider, Fujitsu. In January 2024, claims emerged that a previous Post Office accounting system known as Capture, used by some post offices in the 1990s, had caused similar problems to Horizon.

However, the victims are hopeful, that justice will win. The ITV Drama is the perfect example of how the media can use its power in a positive way, as opposite to my previous blog post about Richard Allensworth Jewell.

The British Post Office scandal or Horizon scandal involved faulty accounting software, provided by Fujitsu and known as Horizon, creating false shortfalls in the accounts of thousands of subpostmasters. The prime minister, Rishi Sunak, described it as one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in the history of the United Kingdom. Between 1999 and 2015, over 900 subpostmasters were convicted of theft, fraud and false accounting based on faulty Horizon data, with about 700 of these prosecutions carried out by the Post Office. Other subpostmasters were prosecuted but not convicted, forced to cover Horizon shortfalls with their own money, or had their contracts terminated. The court cases, criminal convictions, imprisonments, loss of livelihoods and homes, debts and bankruptcies, took a heavy toll on the victims and their families, leading to stress, illness, divorce and, in at least four cases, suicide.

Although many subpostmasters had reported problems with the new software, the Post Office had insisted that Horizon was robust and failed to disclose its knowledge of faults in the system while securing convictions. In May 2009, Computer Weekly broke the story about problems with Horizon, and in September 2009 subpostmaster Alan Bates launched the Justice for Subpostmasters Alliance (JFSA). In 2012, following pressure from campaigners and a number of Members of Parliament, led by James Arbuthnot, the Post Office appointed forensic accountants from the firm Second Sight to conduct an investigation into Horizon. Second Sight concluded that Horizon contained faults that could result in accounting discrepancies, but the Post Office said that there were no systemic (system wide) problems with the software.

In 2017, 555 subpostmasters led by Bates brought a group action in the High Court against the Post Office. After the judge ruled in 2019 that the subpostmasters' contracts with the Post Office were unfair and that Horizon contained bugs, errors and defects, the case was settled out of court for £58 million, which left the claimants with about £20,000 each after legal costs. The government later agreed to supplement their awards. The judge's rulings in the case paved the way for subpostmasters to challenge their convictions in the courts and led to the prime minister Boris Johnson's announcement in February 2020 that the government would establish an independent inquiry into the scandal. The Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry was set up later that year, and was converted into a statutory public inquiry in June 2021.

Courts began to quash convictions from December 2020. By February 2024, 100 of the subpostmasters' convictions had been overturned in court. In January 2024, plans for a blanket exoneration were announced by the government. Those wrongfully convicted became eligible for compensation from the Post Office, as did more than 2,750 subpostmasters who had been affected by the scandal but had not been convicted. By January 2024, the Post Office had paid out £153 million to claimants, with 64% of all those affected by the scandal having received full and final compensation.

Bowling - The Real Story of Richard Jewell

There are many true stories that confirm the extreme power that the media has over us. One of the stories that come to my mind is the life story of Richard Allensworth Jewell. May his soul rest in peace. He was a victim of the media and is THE perfect example of how the media misuses its power and is able to destroy someone's life for no reason!

If you haven't heard about this true story, watch the film, and you'll see what I mean.

Richard Allensworth Jewell (born Richard White; December 17, 1962 – August 29, 2007) was an American security guard and law enforcement officer who alerted police during the Centennial Olympic Park bombing at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He discovered a backpack containing three pipe bombs on the park grounds and helped evacuate the area before the bomb exploded, saving many people from injury or death. For months afterward, he was suspected of planting the bomb, resulting in adverse publicity that "came to symbolize the excesses of law enforcement and the news media".

Initially hailed by the media as a hero, Jewell was soon considered a suspect by the FBI based on psychological profiling. Though never charged, Jewell experienced what was described as a "trial by media", which took a toll on his personal and professional life. He was cleared as a suspect after 88 days of intense public scrutiny. In 2005, Eric Rudolph confessed and pleaded guilty to that bombing and other attacks.

Jewell's life has been the subject of popular culture, including the 2019 Oscar-nominated film Richard Jewell directed by Clint Eastwood and the ten-episode drama Deadly Games, the 2020 season of the anthology series Manhunt.

Bowling - A rap song with a deep message!

We have seen this for decades now. The mainstream media has so much power over us and ever since Social media, we are even more brainwashed and manipulated than the generations before us.

During the pandemic, it became clearer and clearer that we have to protect ourselves from too much rubbish information. All these headlines, false stories and exaggerations were not healthy for our peace of mind.

And if this is not enough, we keep witnessing a new war after another. Two years ago, the Ukraine Russian war surprised the world, especially Europe, and now the Israel Gaza war is making headlines daily. Will these human tragedies ever end? I guess not, as long as humans are selfish fame and fortune-hunters, our world won't find peace.

BOWLING is an anti-war rap song. A wake-up call for mighty hungry, fame, and fortune hunters. A reminder that money and power are not everything in life. It won't last for eternity, but Karma does. It is also a song against the mainstream media, which way too often misuses its power, manipulates and brainwashes us with headline-lies and "fictional" breaking news stories without a bad conscience.

Like YoYo & Chess and Ping Pong & Puzzle, BOWLING is a song about people who play with people. It's about the game of life.
