A Little Dog, Extraordinary Encounters: Legacy’s Time Travel Is Now Available!
Some books take us to new places. Others invite us to see the world with fresh eyes—and sometimes, our guide is a little dog with a very curious heart.
We are delighted to announce that Legacy’s Time Travel, by Lily & Sima Amis, is now available as an ebook in English and German!
Meet Legacy, a curious King Charles spaniel, little reporter and beloved companion of Miss Lily, whom he affectionately calls “Mummy.” When he discovers magical books in a library, an extraordinary adventure begins. Their glowing pages carry him through time, opening the door to encounters with remarkable personalities.
What would he ask Maria Montessori about learning? John Lennon about peace? Princess Diana about kindness? And what might these encounters teach him about the difference one life can make?
Through twelve imagined meetings with historical, religious and legendary figures, Legacy explores courage, compassion, creativity, forgiveness and hope. His questions are thoughtful, his curiosity knows no bounds, and his gentle humour brings warmth to even the biggest subjects.
These are fictional conversations inspired by the personalities’ lives, teachings or associated traditions. Imagination opens the door; the stories invite readers to reflect on what matters to them.
At the heart of the collection is a question that connects every adventure: What do we leave behind through the way we treat others?
As a mother-and-daughter creative team, we are happy to share this world with you. We created Legacy’s adventures for children and families, with room for curiosity, laughter, and conversations that continue after the final page.
Read together, explore a different encounter each evening, or follow Legacy at your own pace. We hope his journeys inspire you to ask questions, discover new perspectives, and recognise the kindness you can bring into someone else’s life.
Both ebooks are now available.
Thank you for welcoming our little reporter into your reading world. His adventures begin with a magical book - and we are delighted that this one can now find its way into your hands.
