✍️ A Clear Statement on AI, Music, and Why I Chose This Path!

Lately, I’ve noticed a growing negativity around AI-produced music. So let me be very clear - calmly, honestly, and without apology.

I have never claimed to be a vocalist.
I have never claimed to be a musician.
And I have never claimed to be a composer.

I am a storyteller.

I’ve always been fascinated by the power of music as a storytelling medium - how a three-minute song can tell an entire story, break a heart with a ballad, lift a spirit with disco, or give hope through rhythm and melody. Music, to me, is language, emotion, and narrative combined.

For years, I worked the “traditional” way.

I collaborated with a male vocalist for three years through an online freelance platform and produced 15 tracks with him. It was a massive sacrifice - financially and personally. It meant no holidays for over six years. Every spare resource went into bringing my lyrics and stories to life.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth:
In those three years, I never once spoke to him on the phone.
We never had a video call.
We never met in person - despite my repeated requests.

There were always excuses.

To this day, I don’t know for sure who I was communicating with. I don’t even know if the person I was chatting with was the same person who sang my lyrics. That is the reality of many online creative platforms - one people prefer not to acknowledge.

At the same time, it was impossible for me to find the right female vocalist. Not because talent is rare, but because access, cost, availability, and trust are real barriers - especially for independent creators.

So I made a conscious decision.

I chose to work with AI music and digital voices.

Not because I wanted shortcuts.
Not because I wanted to replace musicians.
But because I wanted clarity, independence, and creative honesty.

There is another reason - an important one.

As someone who has always used her voice for the voiceless through writing, protest songs, and awareness-driven lyrics, speed matters. When world events happen - wars, injustice, displacement, violence, silence - I cannot wait months or years to react. My soul doesn’t work on industry timelines.

This way allows me to respond immediately.
To process what is happening in the world.
To turn grief, anger, and empathy into songs that speak while the moment still matters.

AI enables me to react in real time to events that deeply disturb my conscience and to transform them into music that raises awareness. For me, this isn’t about convenience - it’s about responsibility.

With AI, I know exactly what I’m working with. There is no illusion, no hidden middleman - no pretending, no excuses, no dishonesty. No sleepless nights of self-doubt. No open questions that never get answered. I am transparent about the process, I own it fully, and I stand behind it.

Most importantly, this allows me - finally - to bring my ideas, thoughts, feelings, and emotions to life without financial exploitation, dependency, or creative compromise. I can create professionally produced songs across different genres and languages and focus on what I do best: telling stories.

AI is a tool.
Just like a pen.
Just like a camera.
Just like editing software.

What matters is intention, integrity, and transparency.

I respect musicians. I respect vocalists. I respect composers.
And I respect myself enough to choose a path that is sustainable, honest, and aligned with who I am.

You don’t have to like AI-produced music.
But you don’t get to erase the reality of creators who finally have access to expression.

This is my choice.
This is my voice.
And I’m done explaining it as if it needs justification.
