Art for Refugees is an online art shop that raises money for charities that work with refugees and people seeking asylum. This initiative is run by three volunteers and sells prints of 75 pieces of art, which have been donated by artists from across the globe.
Art for Refugees donates 50% of all profits to ChooseLove: Help Refugees, one of the UK’s leading charities providing support for refugees and displaced communities, and 50% to Watford and Three Rivers RefugeePartnership, who offer practical and emotional support to asylum seekers and refugees in West Hertfordshire.
And I’m more than happy to support this lovely art shop with my artwork!

This watercolour print was made in 1996 in Zurich, Switzerland. The tree symbolizes life. When you chop off the branch of a tree, you kill it. When you stop and deny access to education and full integration to refugees in their adopted country, you kill them as well.
This watercolour print was made in 1996 in Zurich, Switzerland. The lady with wings symbolizes the guardian angel. She is protecting planet Earth, while the world is falling apart because of the injustices and brutal wars that are killing innocent humans and destroying families and children’s lives.
This print was my very first oil painting, made in 1986 during the war in Tehran, Iran. I was just ten years old. The painting symbolizes that where there is light, there is also shadow.
