December 02, 2017

These days, thanks to social media making friends and connecting with people from across the globe has become easy. But building friendships based on trust, honesty, loyalty, integrity and respect is the challenging part. Like in every relationship honesty, trust, love, compassion and appreciation are required to cherish one another.
I have to say working on my Blogger magazine Read My Mind and other international projects this year made me learn a lot about myself. I have to admit that there were a few situations where my loyalty to myself was tested and I completely failed!!!  Perhaps because I will never understand why kindness, support and generosity backfires on one in a hurtful way, when you least expect it and from people who you least think of. Nevertheless I won’t change my trustworthy, honest and supportive way, because that’s who I am.
Although next time when I want to support unknown people (so called friends on social media) I will make sure that they are worth my time, my effort, my friendship and my loyalty. Despite the few setbacks and disappointments I have to thank those who came into my life and left for good. THANK YOU for being nothing but pretenders, two-faced, dishonest and disloyal. You, yes you inspire me for my next educational books for children and YA, where all my stories are about friendship, honesty, loyalty and trust. I have and I always will detest dishonesty and will be an advocate for kindness, respect and integrity as long as I live.

Dishonesty is a disgraceful behaviour and an unforgiveable sin. As I always say you can fool yourself. You can fool people for a while but you can’t fool God! Let me use a quote from my book “Teddy & Lily, True Friendship is Unconditional Loyalty”: “Making friends is easy, but keeping friends is the difficult part. Friendship is like a flower. It needs daily love and care to blossom. If you forget to give it water, the flower dies. It’s as simple as that!”
Another true quote is: “Friendship is like a book. It takes a few seconds to burn it. But it takes years to write it!”
Anyway I’m already working on the spring issue 2018 with new and exciting columns and using my horrible experiences with dishonest people for new book projects that will be published in 2018. So again THANK YOU for educating me and reminding me of who I am and who I never want to be!
I also like to use this opportunity and thank my blog readers. Please spread your love and make sure that everyone knows about Read My Mind Magazine and be assured that I will offer you more exciting, entertaining, educating and inspiring articles and books. Remember: Whatever you do always be honest and loyal to yourself. And don’t allow liars to fool you or use your trust, your time and your kindness! My last quote for today is: “Remember honesty is a very expensive gift. Don’t expect it from cheap people!"
See you in 2018!
